The National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine has informed the ex-acting CEO of the state enterprise “Krasnolimanskaya Coal Company” about suspicion in damaging the company for 336 million UAH and environment for more than 210 million UAH.
According to the investigation, from November 2015 to January 2017, the state enterprise sold 756 thousand tons of coal to a private company (middleman) at a price 3 times lower than the market one.
Then the middlemen supplied this coal to the Centrenergo company at market prices. The state owns 78.289% in the energy company.
Because of this scheme, the state enterprise failed to receive a profit of more than 336 million UAH.
Moreover, in November 2015, without licence the state enterprise illegally mined more than 112.5 thousand tons of coal. This resulted in the damage to environment to the tune of 210 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
