In July-September, Ferrexpo produced 0.8 million tons of iron ore pellets, down by 68% YoY.

The main reason of the drop is the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February and the logistics limitations connected with it.

Now only one of four pelletizing lines is operating.

In Q3, pellets output using direct reduction grew by 35% YoY, to 263 thousand tons. DR-pellets accounted for 31% of the total output (4% in the whole 2021).

Concentrate manufacture increased by 45%, to 65 thousand tons.

Sales amounted to 1 million tons, down by 65%. (Ukrainian metal)
