The Metinvest group has focused on organizing deliveries of humanitarian aid to the regions suffering from war, while the group management remains in Kyiv.
“We do everything possible to help Ukraine win. We remain in Kyiv, together with our president, our authorities and the military, to resist the enemy side by side,” Metinvest CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov has said.
The group has created a logistics network together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and a hub in Poland where they accumulate all the humanitarian aid. After that it is delivered to Zaporozhye, where it is sorted and provided to people.
So far, 80 tons of aid has been provided. And the group also helps the army and the territorial defense.
“We make Czech hedgehogs and supply ferroconcrete blocks to construct defense points, we buy bulletproof vests, helmets and first aid kits, to better protect the territorial defense,” Ryzhenkov added. (Ukrainian metal)
