In October, Zaporizhstal decreased rolled metal output by 3.5% YoY, to 267 thousand tons.
The company also produced 345.8 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 13.3%, and 279 thousand tons of steel, down by 14.6%.
The drop is due to the shortage of coking coal.
In January-October, Zaporizhstal produced 3613.4 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 2% YoY, 3216.2 thousand tons of steel, up by 3.5%, and 2725.4 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 3.2%. (Ukrainian metal)
