In January-September, Ukraine exported 455.398 thousand tons of ferrous scrap, up 18.1-fold YoY.

In September, exports reached 44.966 thousand tons.

According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports have grown 27.2-fold, to $175.584 million.

Imports increased by 26.7%, to 17.197 thousand tons, valued at $31.807 million, up 2.05-fold.

The main suppliers were Turkey (59.33% in monetary terms) and Russia (34.54%), while the main customer was Turkey (87.25%), followed by Romania (5.72%) and Poland (4.27%). (Ukrainian metal)
