In September, Zaporizhstal produced 332.9 thousand tons of pig iron, 284.5 thousand tons of steel and 213.7 thousand tons of rolled metal, down by 13.9%, 12.9% and 22.7% YoY respectively.
The decrease is due to capital repairs of the blast furnace No. 3, as well as rolling mills in hot-rolling and blooming shops.
In January-September, the company produced 3.267 million tons of pig iron, 2.937 million tons of steel and 2.458 million tons of rolled metal, down by 0.6%, but up by 5.6% and by 4% respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
