Metinvest is launching a large-scale project to construct a new cold-rolling shop at the Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works.
Investments will exceed $1 billion.
It is expected, that in 2025, when the first stage will be completed, the works will produce around 1.2 million tons of cold-rolled, galvanized as well as polymer-coated metal per year.
Pollution will be 1.5-3 times below allowed norms, while fuel consumption will decrease by 20%. (Ukrainian metal)
