On July 23-30, metal companies increased buying prices for scrap from 7800 UAH to 9600 UAH per ton.
Scrap deliveries to metal companies dropped from 63.9 thousand tons to 61.4 thousand tons.
Scrap need was estimated at 60.2 thousand tons.
Scrap stocks amounted to 190 thousand tons, down from 224 thousand tons a week earlier.
Dneprospetsstal has the largest stocks – enough for 58 days, while Azovstal – the lowest – 11 days. (Ukrainian metal)
