In January, Electrostal (Kurakhovo, Donetsk region) didn’t produce anything, while in January 2020, 3 thousand tons of billets were produced.
In December 2020, the enterprise was also idle, while in November 2020 it produced 2 thousand tons and in October 2020 – 10 thousand tons.
Electrostal was idle in January-March 2019 and October 2019.
The reason of the suspension of the operation is the growth of ferrous metals scrap price.
In 2020, Electrostal produced 84 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
