On February 1, a strike began at the Yasinovataya By-Product Coke Plant. Later it was joined by Makeevkoks.
On February 2, the employees were paid 12% of their monthly wages and were asked to return to work.
But the employees continued striking demanding their salary debts to be cleared.
If the strike goes on at the enterprises in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia, Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works will have to suspend its operation again. (Ukrainian metal)
