In 2020, Ukraine exported 473.1 thousand tons of pipes valued at $521.9 million, down by 22.8% and by 22% YoY respectively.
According to the State Customs Service, in December 2020 exports dropped by 13.4%, to 41.1 thousand tons valued at $43.2 million, down by 19.3%.
Seamless pipes accounted for 350.6 thousand tons ($448.7 million), other pipes and tubes – 112.6 thousand tons ($62.1 million) and pipes and tubes with the diameter of up to 406.9 mm – 9.1 thousand tons ($9.1 million).
The main customers of seamless pipes were Germany, USA and Russia. Turkmenistan bought around half of other pipes and tubes with the diameter of up to 406.9 mm, while Poland – 50% of other pipes and tubes. (Ukrainian metal)
