In December 2020, scrap deliveries to metal companies grew by 33.1% YoY, to 288.6 thousand tons.
At the same time, in 12 months they dropped by 3.9%, to 2.9 million tons.
The largest scrap recipients were Metinvest enterprises and Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Combine – 175 thousand tons, up by 37.9%, Interpipe Steel – 52 thousand tons, up by 2.6%, and ArcelorMittal Kirviy Rih – 20.5 thousand tons, up by 137.6%. (Ukrainian metal)
