In January-June, Ismail Seaport decreased export transportation of iron ore by 30.2% YoY, to 1.19 million tons.
This is the worst half-year result since 2014. Since then, iron ore transportation has been growing each year.
In 2019, exports decreased by 13.9%, to 2 million tons, due to the decrease of demand in Europe. At the same time, transit grew 2-fold, to 245.9 thousand tons.
In January-June, the railroad station of Ismail received 1.09 million tons of iron raw materials, down by 46.1% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
