In January-May, Ukraine imported 388 thousand tons of limestone, down by 65% YoY.
At the same time, the import of lime grew by 25%, to 36 thousand tons.
Metal industry accounts for two thirds of limestone consumption.
The largest importers in January-May were Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, Zaporizhstal and ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih. (Ukrainian metal)
