In 2020 the metal structures construction in Ukraine is expected to grow by 10 thousand tons YoY.
“We have made a forecast for a longer term based on the average GDP growth of 3% and the increase of consumption of steel structures, used in the construction of housing. We believe, by 2030 steel structures consumption in Ukraine will have grown to 300 thousand tons”, the managing director of the Ukrainian Center of Steel Construction Vyacheslav Kolesnik declared.
Last year both exports and imports of metal structures decreased in Ukraine: exports by 40% and imports 3-fold.
In 2019 manufacture of metal structures increased to 138 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
