In 2019 Ukraine imported 1.209 million tons of manganese ore and concentrate valued at $210.6 million, up by 28.8% and by 15.2% YoY respectively.
According to the State Tax Service, Ghana supplied 75.94% of the ore. Deliveries from Russia accounted for 19.12% and Georgia – 2.7%.
Last year Ukraine exported 33.2 thousand tons of manganese ore valued at $3.3 million. Hungary purchased 44.03% of ore, the Czech Republic – 23.44% and Slovakia – 18.84%. (Ukrainian metal)
