In January-November Ukraine produced 9.29 million tons of bulk 6% moisture coke, down by 6.2% YoY.
In November deliveries of coking coals to by-product coke plants grew by 11% MoM, to 1.02 million tons. In particular, the delivery of domestic coal grew by 23%, to 350 thousand tons, but imported dropped by 23%, to 670 thousand tons. In 11 months deliveries fell by 5%, to 12.74 million tons, with domestic coal up by 29%, to 3.12 million tons, but imported down by 12%, to 9.62 million tons.
The share of imported coal was 75.5% as opposed to 82% last year.
Coke deliveries to metal companies in November decreased by 13% MoM, to 607 thousand tons, with all coke delivered being domestic. In 11 months coke deliveries dropped by 6%, to 8.2 million tons, including domestic coke down by 7%, to 7.81 million tons, but imported – up by 36%, to 390 thousand tons.
