In September Russia imported 79.5 thousand tons of chrome ore, down by 3% MoM.
Deliveries from Kazakhstan dropped by 7%, to 65 thousand tons, but from the South Africa grew by 57%, to 6.6 thousand tons, and from Turkey remained unchanged – 7.6 thousand tons.
In January-October imports totaled 727 thousand tons, up by 2% YoY.
In monetary terms since the start of the year the imports have decreased by 16.3%. Import price in September grew by $2, to $169 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
