In August Russia imported 2.3 thousand tons of aluminum wastes and scrap, up by 9.6% MoM and by 23.3% YoY.
Deliveries from Kazakhstan increased by 28%, to 1.4 thousand tons.
Imports from the USA dropped from 706 tons to 410 tons.
In 8 months imports totaled 18.7 thousand tons, down by 24% YoY.
In monetary terms since the start of the year imports have decreased by 35.5%.
Import prices in August dropped by 5%, to $1066 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
