Lugansk region miners have announced a strike and refuse to go underground until their salary debts are cleared.
On October 8 employees of the Novodruzhevskaya mine, a part of Lisichanskugol, stopped extracting coal.
The salary debt to them amounts to 120 million UAH.
The employees of the nearby mine named after Kapustin have warned the administration that they would also stop working.
Miners of the Gornaya mine (Pervomaiskugol) have not been descending underground for 2 days already.
The reason is the same – non-payment of salary. According to the miners, if they are not paid soon, they will march to Kyiv. (Ukrainian metal)
