Mechel agreed to buy a part of Gazprombank share in its largest project – Elga coal complex.
The company has accepted an offer to buy 34% of the Gazprombank’s 49%.
Mechel owns 51% in the project with the reserves of 2.2 billion tons of coking coal.
Gazprombank bought 49% of Elga in summer 2016 for 34.4 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
