The use of metal in the construction of housing is not that widespread in Russia. While in developed countries some 50-60% of blocks of flats are built using steel frame, in Russia the volume is just 13.5%.
The potential for the use of steel structures is seen in the metal companies participating in national projects, federal and regional programs to construct, first of all, social infrastructure (kindergartens, schools and hospitals).
Metal could also be in demand in the construction of sports infrastructure. (Ukrainian metal)
