In January-August Ukraine produced 6.87 million tons of 6% moisture bulk coke, down by 6% YoY.
In August deliveries of coking coal to by-product coke plants grew by 3% MoM, to 1.19 million tons, including 430 thousand tons of domestic coal, up by 10%, and 760 thousand tons of imported coal.
In 8 months deliveries remained unchanged at 9.45 million tons, including 2.26 million tons of domestic coal, up by 32%, and 7.19 million tons of imported coal, down by 7%.
Coke deliveries to Ukrainian metal plants in August increased by 6% MoM, to 753 thousand tons, including 733 thousand tons of domestic coke, up by 8%, and 20 thousand tons of imported coke, down by 33%. In 8 months deliveries decreased by 3% YoY, to 6.16 million tons, including 5.8 million tons of domestic coke, down by 5%, and 360 thousand tons of imported coke, up by 35%. (Ukrainian metal)
