In January-June Armenia exported 16.8 thousand tons of aluminum foil, up by 0.8% YoY, valued at $49.8 million, down by 9.1%.
According to the Customs Service, the foil was exported to the US (33.1%), Germany (25.5%), the Netherlands (11.4%), Poland (9.5%), France (7%), Italy (5.8%), Austria (3.4%), Denmark (1.5%), the UK (1.2%), the Czech Republic (0.7%), Spain (0.4%), as well as Hungary, Georgia, Russia and Bulgaria.
Aluminum foil imports dropped by 49.1%, to 1.1 thousand tons valued at $4.5 million, down by 40.6%. The main supplier was Greece (87.6%).
In H1 aluminum foil output decreased by 5.8%, to 15.338 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
