In January-August Ukraine exported 4.871 million tons of carbon steel semi-finished products, up by 9.9% YoY, valued at $2.044 billion, down by 3.6% YoY.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main buyers were Italy (31.02%), Egypt (15.06%) and Turkey (7.86%).
In 8 months Ukraine imported 34.471 thousand tons of semis, up by 20.7% YoY, valued at $20.378 million, up by 17.5%. The main suppliers were Russia (99.77%) and China (0.23%). (Ukrainian metal)
