In June Russia imported 536 tons of tantalum, including scrap, down by 49.6% MoM and by 66% YoY.
After a considerable increase in supplies China has decreased them 4-fold, to 51 tons, and Kazakhstan – by 37%, to 485 tons.
In 6 months tantalum imports totaled 4.1 thousand tons, down by 41.8% YoY.
In monetary temns since the start of the year the imports have decreased by 31.8%.
