In August Ukraine increased steel output by 8.5% MoM, to 1.936 million tons.
Pig iron manufacture grew by 10.5%, to 1.819 million tons, and rolled metal – by 3.6%, to 1.568 million tons.
In January-August Ukraine produced 14.65 million tons of steel, 13.71 million tons of pig iron and 12.55 million tons of rolled metal, all up by 4.8%, 0.6% and 2.2% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
