Energomashspetsstal has cast a bulk ingot weighing 415 tons.
The ingot will be used to produce a Tianwan nuclear power plant reactor body shell.
This is the sixth ingot of such a weight produced at EMSS.
For the first time the 415-ton ingot was produced in 2012.
The production lasted for 18 hours and 32 minutes, while the preparation process took up 3 weeks.
The shell production will be finished in Q2 2020. Its net weight will be 108 tons, height – 4.6 meters and diameter – 3.9 meters.
All in all EMSS will produce 3,504 tons of wares for the NPP. (Ukrainian metal)
