Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works has produced the 2.5-mllionth ton of rolled metal since its rail and beam mill was commissioned.
The mill was commissioned in 2013.
Of 2.5 million tons rails account for 1 million tons, or 40%.
Over 70% of the rails manufactured were supplied to RZD. (Ukrainian metal)
