This year the Aldan district of Yakutia has set a record of gold output – 12.6 tons.
“This means there is a development, new techniques are implemented, new jobs are created, and the district itself is developing”, the Yakutia governor Aisen Nikolayev noted while visiting Polyus Aldan gold-extracting factory.
According to him, gold extraction is one of the main industries developing the district.
Next year the factory will be 55. Since 2014 a large-scale modernization has been carried out there.
Last year the output exceeded 6.2 tons of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
