In May Russia imported 82.4 thousand tons of manganese ore and concentrate, down by 22.3% MoM and by 9.7% YoY.
In 5 months imports dropped by 19.2%, to 389.8 thousand tons.
Deliveries from the South Africa and Kazakhstan decreased by 25% and 28% respectively, to 51 and 13 thousand tons.
In monetary terms since the start of the year the imports have fallen by 30.2%. Import price in May grew by 7.2%, to $235 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
