In May Russia decreased semi-finished steel products exports by 17.6% MoM and by 18.2% YoY, to 1.12 million tons.

According to the Federal Customs Statistics, in January-May exports dropped by 5.6% YoY, to 6.42 million tons, valued at $2.798 billion, down by 18.5%.

Taiwan accounted for 23% of all purchases, down by 5.8%. Average price was $420 per ton FOB.

Mexico purchased 14.3% of semis, down by 12.5%, with the average price of $446.6 per ton.

Belgium accounted for 13.8%, up by 10.2% at $462 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
