NLMK-Metiz has concluded an agreement to assemble a bell type furnace in the steel wire shop.
The furnace will be used for the pelletizing of wire.
The wire with the diameter of 1.2 to 6 mm is one of the most sought-after products of the company.
Annually NLMK-Metiz produces some 30 thousand tons of thermally treated wire.
The steel wire shop already operates 3 bell type furnaces. The new furnace will increase the shop capacity by 9.2 thousand tons per year.
The assembly of the Danielli furnace will start in 2020, and the first wire will be produced in summer. (Ukrainian metal)
