This year Uralelectromed intends to produce some 400 thousand tons of cathode copper, on par with the previous year.
Copper wire rod manufacture is also expected to remain unchanged – 170 thousand tons.
Copper consumption is growing, so the company is carrying out investment projects to increase capacities.
In particular, at present UEM is constructing the third stage of the electrolysis shop. Investments are estimated at 4.5 billion rubles.
The shop will be commissioned in 2022. (Ukrainian metal)
