The Kharkiv territorial department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has fined Megametalgroup and Donremtechmash for 544 thousand UAH for the breach of the competition legislation by corrupting the results of four tenders held by the state enterprise Selidovugol.
The committee has studied four tenders with the total expected cost of 209.77 million YAH.
It proved that the companies were connected to each other, and their tender offers did not correspond to the requirements of the customer.
The committee has deemed the companies’ actions anti-competitive and fined each for 68 thousand UAH for each tender. (Ukrainian metal)
