Ukraine: ferrous scrap imports in January-May 2019

In January-May Ukraine increased ferrous scrap imports by 38.4% YoY, to 28.71 thousand tons valued at $14.792 million, down by 10.9%.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the main suppliers were Russia (49.09%), Turkey (43.71%) and Korea (3.13%).

This year Ukraine did not import or re-export hot-briquetted iron. (Ukrainian metal)
