In January-March Ukraine exported $2.42 billion worth of ferrous metals, up by 14.6% YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, ferrous metals accounted for 19.69% of the total export revenue as opposed to 22.6% in Q1 2018.

In March revenue totaled $758.63 million.

Imports in Q1 dropped by 3.4%, to $271.33 million ($96.17 million in March).

Metal wares exports in Q1 went up by 3.7%, to $256.73 million ($92.39 million), while imports grew by 13.3%, to $229.69 million ($85.49 million). (Ukrainian metal)
