Energomashspetsstal has started manufacturing a bulk supporting roll with the weight of 147.5 tons for ArcelorMittal Galati (Romania).
The roll will be used in the plate mill.
It will be manufactured of an ingot weighing 355 tons of medium-alloyed steel.
The length of the roll will exceed 10 meters.
The roll has to be produced by March 2020 and will be transported to Romania by railroad.
The companies have been cooperating since 2014. Since then EMSS has produced 5 such rolls for AMG. (Ukrainian metal)
