In 2018 Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant invested 74.1 million UAH in the repair of its main machinery.
In Q1 the company plans to repair the ore-smelting furnace No. 1 (the repair will be carried out in 53 days) and the tube-type rotary kiln No. 1 (50 days).
“The repair will result in the decrease of capacity and output volume, but in future will improve manufacture”, the company said.
This year PFK intends to spend 111.7 million UAH on repair.
Also 3 MAZs and a Hitachi excavator will be purchased this year. (Ukrainian metal)
