Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works has commissioned a new railroad station – Zapadnaya – at its quarry.
The station has been moved 100 meters from its old position.
The site freed has some 50 million tons of unoxidized iron quartzites.
Mining will start in 2021.
In order to relocate the station, it was necessary to construct 4 km of railroad.
This and some other projects will le StGOK increase ore mining to 42 million tons by 2022. (Ukrainian metal)
