In January Ukraine exported 40.6 thousand tons of pipes, down by 10.9% MoM, valued at $48.7 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the pipes share in the total export was 1.19%.

Seamless pipes accounted for 31 thousand tons ($42.8 million), other pipes and tubes – 8.7 thousand tons ($5.3 million) and other pipes and tubes with the diameter of over 406.4 mm – 858 tons ($559 thousand).

Almost half of all seamless pipes were sold to US (22.3%), Germany (12.02%) and Russia (11.7%).

The main consumers of other pipes and tubes were US (31.7%), Poland (25.5%) and Russia (20.4%).

In January Ukraine imported 13.2 thousand tons of pipes valued at $19.1 million.

Most seamless pipes were bought from China (57.4%) and Russia (19.6%).

The main suppliers of other pipes and tubes were China (28.5%) and Italy (26.5%). (Ukrainian metal)
