In 2018 coal output in Ukraine dropped by 10% YoY. According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, in particular power-generating coal mining went up by 4.9%, to 27.48 million tons. At the same time the output of coking coal decreased by 14.6%, to 58.1 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
