The metal companies are prepared to invest in the state system of education.
According to Metinvest director on personnel Alexander Pimkin, at present the state does not do all the necessary things to reform the education system.
“The approach to and the volumes of financing on behalf of the state are not enough”, he said. “We don’t think that the business should build its own education system. This is a wrong way. We could go that way, but it would result in the destruction of the state system. Hence, we are ready to invest in the state education system”.
The group together with the Ukrainian Federation of metallurgists are creating educational professional standards, which bring the business requirements and modern technologies closer to what is now taught in high and higher schools. (Ukrainian metal)
