In 2018 the largest gold extractor of Kamchatka region – Ametistovoye – produced 3105 kg of gold and 11.4 tons of silver, down by 29% and by 20% YoY respectively.
The decrease in the output is not explained.
This year the company intends to start constructing a mine at the Ametistovoye gold deposit.
The license is valid until 2036. The reserves of the deposit are 51.8 tons of gold and 177.8 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
