According to preliminary estimates, in 2018 Kamchatka region extracted 5432,2 kg of gold, down by 20% YoY.
Ore gold accounted for 5386 kg, down by 20%, and the rest (4.61 kg) for alluvial gold (down by 74%).
Silver output decreased by 8.6%, to 16.2 tons.
10 companies were developing gold and silver deposits last year. Of them the largest extractor was Ametistovoye – 3105 kg of gold and 11.4 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
