Gaysky Mining and Processing Works has put into operation a new floatation machine.
The SOMEX machine has been assembled at the main premises of the processing factory replacing outdated machinery.
“The new machine is twice smaller than its predecessor. Each of its six compartments has the volume of 25 cubic meters as opposed to 50 cubic meters of the previous machine. That’s because the processing technique has changed, and we no longer need machines with such large compartments”, the factory chief engineer Alexei Vinokurov said.
The company intends to install another machine soon. (Ukrainian metal)
