In 2018 the total amount of tax and duties payments of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih increased by UAH 1.1 billion YoY and amounted to UAH 8.8 billion, up by 14.2% (UAH 7.7 billion). The company is still the largest taxpayer in the industry.
Out of the total amount of taxes and duties – UAH 8.8 billion – UAH 3.93 billion are for payments to the budgets of various levels, UAH 4.14 billion fall on the share of VAT paid at custom clearance, and UAH 749 million – on unified social tax.
Major part of tax payments went to the state budget – UAH 2.9 billion, up by UAH 900 million.
The local budget received over UAH 1 billion from the company. The amount rose by UAH 165 million compared to 2017, mainly owing to payment for land (+UAH 54 million) and personal income tax (+UAH 110 million). In 2017, the company transferred UAH 535.6 million to the local budget as personal income tax, and in 2018, the amount was UAH 645 million.
