Under an investment program to run for 8 years VSMPO-Avisma intends to spend $700 million.
According to the company CEO Mikhail Voyevodin, the reconstruction of the pipe-section and bar manufacture will absorb the most funds.
“For the past 10 years we have been paying attention to flat rolled metal and stampings, while the shop No. 3 has seen little of financing. Now it requires a large-scale reconstruction”, he said.
In 3 years a new shop will be constructed.
The company intends to increase the capacities of the wire manufacture. (Ukrainian metal)
