In January-November 2018 the Belarus Iron and Steel Works shipped $1.5 billion worth of merchandise, up by $293 million from the whole 2017, BMZ Press Secretary Alexander Olesik reported.

A batch of reinforcing bars shipped to BMZ’s trading house in the Baltic States on the night of December 27-28, 2018 raised the year’s total earnings to $1.5 billion. The reinforcing bars are now on the way to the UK.

In January-November 2018 BMZ made 2.24 million tons of steel, 1.95 million tons of rolled products, 136,500 tons of seamless pipes, and 386,600 tons of steel wire products (metal cord, bronzed bead wire, wire for high-pressure hoses, and steel wire for other applications). The company exported about 1.845 million tons of merchandise worth over $1.156 billion to 66 countries across the globe, up by 6.6% and by 28% respectively. (BelTA/Ukrainian metal)
