Belarus Iron and Steel Works has signed an agreement with Continental concern to supply 32.8 thousand tons of metal cord in 2019.
This is the record high volume in 23 years of the companies’ cooperation.
The companies started cooperating in 1995 with 15 thousand tons of metal.
In 2018 BMZ shipped some 30 thousand tons of metal cord to Continental plants in Germany, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Ecuador and Russia.
This year the works produced 91 thousand tons of metal cord. (Ukrainian metal)
